49ers intercept Cam Newton for a third time

The 49ers snagged a third interception off Patriots QB Cam Newton.

The 49ers got their third interception off Cam Newton and the Patriots in the waning minutes of the third quarter. Newton’s throw intended for Julian Edelman bounced off the receiver’s hand and into the arms of 49ers nickel corner Jamar Taylor. Taylor joins Emmanuel Moseley and Fred Warner with interceptions vs. the Patriots.
