49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk was one of eight players named as a finalist for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
This award is “presented each year to an NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition” per a release from the NFL.
Here are the other seven finalists:
Raiders DE Maxx Crosby
Chargers LB Khalil Mack
Jets LB C.J. Mosley
Ravens OL Kevin Zeitler
Cardinals S Budda Baker
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott
Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner
This season marks the fourth consecutive year that Juszczyk has been nominated for the honor. He’s never won the award, and the 49ers have never produced a winner for the award in the nine years it has been distributed.
