The Arizona Cardinals, coming off their bye, will face the San Francisco 49ers at home in Week 15. The NFC West title could be decided in that game.
The 49ers are one win or Los Angeles Rams loss from clinching the NFC West division title.
The 49ers are 10-3 while both the Rams and Seattle Seahawks are 6-7. Seattle has been eliminated from contention because they went 0-2 against the 49ers, including a 28-16 loss on Sunday. Even if the Niners lost out and the Seahawks won the rest of their games and both finished 10-7, San Fran would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker.
If the 49ers beat the Cardinals (they are favored to do so by nearly two touchdowns), they would wrap up the NFC West.
The Rams will be playing at the same time, hosting the Washington Commanders.
The Cardinals could potentially play spoilers and delay the 49ers’ clinching at least a week, especially since the Rams are expected to beat the Commanders.
