We are down to 47 days to go until the UCLA Bruins and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors kick off across the ocean. The excitement continues to build, as we reach the midpoint of July.
With 47 days to go, today we want to celebrate the redshirt freshman and 47 in the program, Wyatt Mosier. The 6’2, 225lbs linebacker is hoping to get an opportunity under the coaching staff of DeShaun Foster.
After enrolling at UCLA in the summer of 2023, he played in the season’s first game and then announced his redshirt. The former Yorba Linda High School football player was a star at four positions throughout his high school career.
His high school team won the 2022 CIP Championship, and he was named the league defensive player of the year. It is yet to be seen who will get the most opportunities to line up for Coach Foster’s defense, but Mosier will work hard this summer and early fall to give himself an opportunity to be on the field.
