Kevin McGill – CB – Eastern Michigan
Last season, the Chargers’ first 53-man roster had six cornerbacks. I am going to go out on a limb and predict it will be Casey Hayward, Chris Harris Jr., Desmond King, Michael Davis, Brandon Facyson and McGill.
McGill, the 6-foot-2 and 200 pound corner had himself a productive career, finishing with 124 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 22 passes defensed and five interceptions.
McGill is a pro-sized defender who possesses the physicality, fluidity and natural ball skills for the position. He is capable of running step for step with receivers and has the length and instincts to make plays on the football.
Y’all thought the MAC was done producing CB talent after Sean Bunting? Think again. Eastern Michigan CB Kevin McGill is the definition of lockdown. Lengthy, fluid, and has ball skills for days. His transitions are extremely efficient. He jumps out as the best player on the field. pic.twitter.com/3OK5e7Aq0e
