New York sent TE Daniel Brown to the Chiefs for veteran RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. It was a move that won’t get much fanfare, but it could impact the Jets’ offensive line for the rest of the season.
Duvernay-Tardif hasn’t played since 2019 after opting out of the 2020 season and losing his starting job to rookie Trey Smith this year, but he was one of the stalwarts on the Chiefs’ offensive line after Kansas City drafted him in the sixth round in 2014.
