4 standouts from LSU’s spring game

Several players stood out in the LSU scrimmage.

We still have months to go before we get to the start of LSU football season, but we got to see the tip of the iceberg of what we can expect from the Tigers in 2021 when the team played its spring game on Saturday.

Several players made their presence felt, including some names we’re not so used to hearing.

Here’s a look at just four players who recorded an impressive showing in Tiger Stadium.

1. CB Dwight McGlothern.

Ed Orgeron had a lot of praise for Dwight McGlothern throughout spring practice, and we continued to hear his name several times today for a reason.

The cornerback was a consistent force on defense Saturday and finished the game with four tackles (one for a loss) and four pass breakups.
