The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the most talented rosters in the AFC. When you have a future Hall of Famer at quarterback and an elite defense, you will always be in a position to be competitive. But this is a team that still has some holes, especially in terms of quality depth.
If some veterans become available as late cap casualties, the Steelers might have to free up some space themselves to get them into the fold. Here are four guys who could be late cap cuts.
OT Matt Feiler $3.259 million
As of now, Feiler is the starting right tackle. He is also playing on a one-year contract worth just north of $3 million. Feiler is a nice player but there is a lot of young talent on the roster such as Zach Banner and Chuks Okorafor both have the potential to win the starting right tackle spot. If this happens and Feiler isn’t needed at left guard, he could be a late cut.
