1. Dan Marino (0-2 vs. the Jags including playoffs)
Former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino is one of the greatest signal-callers and generational arm-talents in NFL history. He has thrown over 61,000 passing yards, 420 touchdowns, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
As great as Marino has been, the Jaguars have done a tremendous job of containing him in his head-to-head games against them. While he has an incredible 147-93 win-loss record, he is 0-2 against the Jaguars in his career.
One of his losses included an absolutely brutal 62-7 blowout to the Jaguars where he only threw for 95 yards and would be replaced by backup quarterback Damon Huard.
Meanwhile, Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell had an easy day at the office where he only threw nine passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Even Jaguars backup quarterback Jay Fiedler got in on the action as he came in and accumulated 172 passing yards, more than both Dolphins quarterbacks combined.
This game would actually prove to be Marino’s last in the NFL as he would retire after the 1999-2000 season.
