4 Bengals veterans in danger of losing their roster spot after 2020 NFL draft

These Cincinnati Bengals veterans are on the roster bubble in 2020.

The Cincinnati Bengals should have one of the more intriguing roster bubbles in the NFL this offseason.

So it goes for a team that spent big in free agency and drafted well while finally getting around to a roster reset.

The following mainstays of two seasons or more are in danger on the bubble.

It’s now or never for Evans. While there is some value to having Evans around as a carryover who can help teach others the defense, he’s facing some serious pressure.

Evans was one of the guys who struggled big time last year in Lou Anarumo’s defense, hence the 61.5 PFF grade. The Bengals can only keep so many linebackers and added three in the draft, Josh Bynes in free agency, claimed Austin Calitro and have a guy in undrafted free agent Marcel Spears who could end up stealing a roster spot.
