37 days till the Cardinals’ season opener against the Bills

Tony Jones is the current No. 37. Yeremiah Bell was a good No. 37 for his only season with the Cardinals in 2013.

It is Friday and the Arizona Cardinals are eight days from their preseason opener against the New Orleans Saints. They are also 37 days away from their regular-season opener on the road against the Buffalo Bills.

The Cardinals’ current No. 37 on the roster is running back Tony Jones, who appeared in three games for the Cardinals and spent the end of the season on the practice squad. He had five rushes for 25 yards and a touchdown.

The last player to make a decent impact while wearing No. 37 was safety Yeremiah Bell back in 2013.

He played only one season but was a productive starter in the final year of his NFL career. He started all 16 games and finished with 77 total tackles, two interceptions, nine pass breakups and a sack.
