We are down to 34 days until the start of the UCLA Bruins football season Happy Sunday to all! Big Ten Media Day is over, and now we await the start of practices for the DeShaun Foster era!
There is no 34 on the roster coming into the start of the season. Today, we wanted to recognize one of the best UCLA Bruins of all time: Jonathan Ogden. Sure, he has been out of the National Football League since 2007, but looking back on his career is always fun.
Ogden was a 1996 NFL Draft pick in the first round. He helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XXXV. He went to the Pro Bowl 11 times in his career, and in 2013 was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
While at UCLA, he helped the Bruins to the 1993 Pac-10 title and also the Rose Bowl. He was also a shot put national champion in 1996. Ogden’s jersey was the 8th in school history to be retired.

Many consider Ogden and Troy Aikman 1/2 on the all-time great list for UCLA Football.
