Injuries hit the Texans’ tight end room last season with a rib injury landing Jordan Thomas on injured reserve along with rookie Kahale Warring, who was dealing with a concussion. Stapleton’s sure route to make the team would be on special teams and as a blocking tight end. It could be a challenge given he is 6-5, 242 pounds. However, if he is diligent, consistent, and available, he ought to be able to thrive when an opportunity presents itself.
