The Wolverines entered the contest on Saturday against MSU as a 21.5 point favorites to win. That didn’t go as planned, as Michigan got beat 27-24 by the Spartans.
The loss is arguably one of the biggest — if not the biggest — upsets in the Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan, especially considering that next to no one anticipated that MSU could win this game, coming in unranked against the No. 13 team in the country.
