3 Texas A&M baseball players named to Perfect Games’ preseason All-American teams

Texas A&M’s stars were well represented in Perfect Games USA’s preseason all-american teams

Texas A&M’s 2025 baseball season has already received plenty of hype after being ranked No. 1 in Perfect Game’s preseason Top 25 rankings, mainly due to the Aggies’ stacked roster, led by star outfielder Jace LaViolette and ace pitcher Ryan Prager.

On Tuesday, LaViolette and Prager, along with sophomore third baseman Gavin Grahovic, were named to Perfect Game’s preseason All-American teams, as 18 SEC players were named first, second, and third team selections just a month before the start of the new season.

LaViolette and Prager were named to the first team, while Grahovic, who did enough last season to earn at least a second-team designation, was named a third-team infielder.

Jace LaViolette is just six home runs away from breaking Texas A&M’s record and has been mocked as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft more often than not. Gavin Grahovic, who nearly transferred this offseason, hit for .298, 23 home runs and 66 RBI on the year.

Last but not least, the Los Angeles Angels drafted Ryan Prager in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft after finishing last season with a 9-1 record, 2.95 ERA, and 124 strikeouts.
