While trades are rare, there are three Titans who could get dealt this offseason.

DaQuan Jones

It would be pretty odd to see the Titans trade DaQuan Jones after his best season as a pro in 2019, unless they have bigger plans at the position in free agency.

According to a report from Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Titans are one of the teams interested in Houston Texans defensive lineman, D.J. Reader.

This is a move that would only make sense if the Titans are willing to part ways with one of their starting defensive linemen from last season, as the group upfront is already solid and costs a pretty penny.

Jones is the most likely player to be traded of the trio that consists of Jeffery Simmons and Jurrell Casey, also. The Titans aren’t just going to cut Jones, either, as he has a fair amount of value in a trade.

It would be tough to see Jones go after playing well last season, but Reader would be a significant upgrade both in the pass-rush and against the run.

And, just imagine how nasty a group consisting of Reader, Simmons and Casey would be. We’re talking perhaps the best in the NFL.
