While trades are rare, there are three Titans who could get dealt this offseason.

The Titans are probably not going to pick up Corey Davis’ fifth-year option this offseason after his production slipped in 2019 and he took a backseat to rising star receiver, A.J. Brown.

The last time the Titans decided not to pick up a player’s fifth-year option was with Conklin last May. Granted, that ended up not working out, but the Titans did make the right call at the time. That result should not have an impact on what they do with Davis

Being that Davis wasn’t necessarily vital to the offense’s success last season, the Titans could attempt to recoup some value for their former No. 5 overall pick instead of potentially letting him walk for nothing next offseason.

Sure, Davis’ production hasn’t been what we all expected, but I still believe he’s an exceptional blocker and a talented receiver who would thrive in a high-volume passing attack — and if I see that, so do other teams.

Even if Davis were to rebound in 2020, he’d likely command a big payday on the open market that Tennessee isn’t willing to match.
