The Kansas City Chiefs were without pads again on Tuesday, practicing in helmets, shorts and shells.
It’ was another one of Andy Reid’s signature 10-10-10 practices. During the course of practice, the team will cycle through 10 offensive plays, 10 defensive plays and a 10-minute special teams period. You have to take these practices with a grain of salt because the offensive and defensive periods are designed with a specific goal in mind. When the offense gets their 10 plays the defense will run half-speed and vice versa, in order to allow the opposing unit to run plays successfully.
With all of that in mind, there are still some things that we can take away from today’s practice session. Here are three things that we’re taking away from the twelfth day of Chiefs’ training camp:
