The Chicago Bulls‘ point guard position has been in question for a while now. Ever since Lonzo Ball went down with an injury 35 games into his Bulls tenure, Chicago hasn’t had a definitive answer at the one. They’ve tested out some different options, but none of them have stuck long-term.
This summer, they brought in veteran point guard Jevon Carter, who is slated to help the Bulls on both ends of the court. The Bulls signed the Chicago native to a three-year deal after a career year with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, and he should play big-time minutes for them this year.
But with guys like Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Alex Caruso in town, the starting job is up for grabs. That said, here are three reasons Carter should be the Bulls’ starting point guard next year.
