The Philadelphia 76ers did not achieve their lofty expectations in the 2022 NBA Playoffs as they fell in the semifinals to the Miami Heat in Game 6 at home. This was the fourth time they have exited from Round 2 in the last five seasons so, obviously, there are some issues to address.
The Sixers have their star duo of Joel Embiid and James Harden that they can build around for the 2022-23 season. Embiid took his game to another level as he was once again in the MVP conversation, and he probably should have won the award, and the expectation for Harden is that a full offseason and training camp should help him get more comfortable with his new team after the deadline deal.
