3 observations: Joel Embiid terrific once again, Sixers beat Timberwolves

Joel Embiid was once again terrific to lead the Philadelphia 76ers past the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

The Philadelphia 76ers were coming off an emotional win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday and they had to guard against a letdown against a lesser team in the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road.

After a very slow start, they were able to cruise to a 118-94 win over Minnesota to begin the road trip. Joel Embiid was the main catalyst as he made it look easy scoring 37 points on 10-for-19 shooting and he had 11 rebounds.

Tobias Harris added 17 points and 10 rebounds, Seth Curry had 12, Ben Simmons stuffed the stat sheet again with 11 points, seven assists, and four rebounds, and Shake Milton added 13 points off the bench. Matisse Thybulle added three steals and two blocks as well as he continues to play well on defense.
