3 observations: Collin Sexton leads Cavs past Ben Simmons, Sixers

Collin Sexton had a big night on the road as he led the Cleveland Cavaliers past the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

There will be nights in the NBA where a team will just not have the right energy. Especially in a condensed season such as this one where games are really being played on an every other night basis and guys are not able to get the proper rest.

The Philadelphia 76ers seemed to not have the right energy on Saturday as they fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers at home 112-109 in overtime as Collin Sexton led the Cavs with 28 points while Darius Garland added 25. Cleveland scored the first five points of the overtime session to really get some separation and Philadelphia could not just muster up enough in order to win this game.

Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 42 points and 13 rebounds, Ben Simmons had 24 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists, while Shake Milton added 11 off the bench.
