3.) CB Jamel Dean
Dean was a third-round pick by the Bucs in the 2019 draft, and the former Auburn cornerback was seen as part of a future tandem featuring him and fellow cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting. Dean’s first start last season came against the Seattle Seahawks on the road, where he struggled mightily throughout the game, surrendering three of Russell Wilson’s five touchdown passes. But Dean bounced back the following week against the Arizona Cardinals, recording his first interception in the Bucs’ win. I think Dean is poised to breakout next season in a big way for this Bucs secondary. That nightmare performance against the Seahawks didn’t break him. He’s proven he’s mentally tough, and he’s got all the tools to be a Pro Bowl cornerback in 2020.
