Aaron Nesmith, Vanderbilt
This kid has the perfect package that the Sixers need right now. He shot a ridiculous 52.2% from deep on 8.2 attempts per game and he was leading the SEC in scoring at 23.0 points per game before the injury. He does a terrific job of moving off screens and getting to the open spot for his shot, almost like JJ Redick, and his shot is so pure. He is not someone who can create for himself, but he’d be an excellent floor spacer.
Philadelphia missed Redick in the worst way in the 2019-20 season. Especially after the addition of Al Horford to the roster, Redick would have been a huge part of this current team and they would not have struggled as much to find the space needed on offense. Nesmith would give that to the Sixers and he could probably start right away.
