D.J. Augustin

Augustin probably makes the most sense. As a journeyman point guard, he will be looking to hop on with a contender and help that team in their quest for a title. In the case of Philadelphia, they fit that mold perfectly. At 32-years old, he most likely would not mind taking a small contract for the right situation to backup Simmons with the Sixers.
He was starting for the Orlando Magic before Markelle Fultz took over the starting job and as a backup point guard, he is still averaging 10.4 points and shooting 34.5% from deep. He is a career 37.9% 3-point shooter so that number is what should interest general manager Elton Brand the most. He is also capable of starting for any stretch and produce should Simmons get hurt or if coach Brett Brown wants to continue to play him off the ball more.
