Desmond Bane, TCU
This one is for their pick at 22 in Round 1. Bane has been one guy who continues to be slept on entering this draft. He is a limited athlete and he is turning 22, but the biggest aspect about his game that should draw the attention of general manager Elton Brand and his staff is his ability to stretch the floor and shoot from the outside.
He shot 44.2% from deep in his senior season at TCU and that comes after shooting 42.5% from deep as a junior and 46.1% as a sophomore. Those are the numbers that can make him a valuable piece in the team’s offense. At 6-foot-6, he has good size and he can shoot it off screens as well as off the dribble. He’d be worth taking a flier on at 22.
