Happy Friday, Bruins fans! We are down to 29 days until the start of the UCLA Football season. We hope you are enjoying the start of August, and following along as the Bruins practices get going. As we celebrate 29 days to go, two players are on the roster wearing 29.
First, Anthony Frias II. The 5’10, 212 redshirt junior out of Turlock California. This will be the first season for Frias II at UCLA. He spent his first two seasons playing at Kansas State. He came away with 42 yards on 13 carries last season. He will join a talented, loaded running back room for DeShaun Foster and the Bruins.
Second is Evan Thomas, a 5’11, 180 defensive back from Inglewood California. Thomas played in seven games with the Bruins last season as a defensive back and also on the special teams. Thomas is a hard worker who is looking to grab time again this season for the Bruins.
