When quarterback transfer Sam Hartman committed to [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag], the question of who was he going to throw to was passed around.
Plenty of names were suggested but one, [autotag]Jaden Greathouse[/autotag], wasn’t really mentioned. Much of that was due to many of us not knowing how good the early enrolling freshman was, but after the spring we all know who he is.
It’s not just Irish fans that noticed, 247Sports did as well, with Greathouse being named as one of eleven players across the county who generated substantial buzz after spring practice.
The Texas native entered the program with high expectations, but those rose significantly following an extremely impressive spring. Their national analyst Blake Brockermeyer called Greathouse a “sure-fire year 1 contributor.”
Jaden Greathouse does a nice job of helping his quarterback here, throttling down at the 50, working back to the 48 at the catch. Brown will make this play if Greathouse holds at the 50 or drifts backwards. pic.twitter.com/E5GpBOP6rR

Following a huge Blue and Gold game, the hype for Greathouse has continued and many, including myself, think he has the potential to be the next great Irish receiver.
