The UCLA Bruins hired DeShaun Foster as its new head football coach after Chip Kelly’s departure to Ohio State.
On Tuesday, Foster was introduced at the press conference, and there were many viral moments from that.
Foster has appeared to bring hope and excitement into the fan base once again, and it will only be a matter of time to see if the hire works out or not.
The move has been widely discussed by many, and Brandon Marcello of 247Sports spoke about the Bruins hire:
“It’s not often you see a head coach get introduced and the players are all surrounding him like that. The players love him…This is a guy that understands the UCLA program in and out.”
Marcello mentions how Foster needs to work with the boosters in the NIL landscape, which is a big task ahead for the new coach.
Nonetheless, this hire brought a ton of excitement to the team, and when he was introduced brought a viral moment in itself.
