23XI Racing will have three full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2025 season. Despite its lawsuit against NASCAR, the organization will have Bubba Wallace (No. 23), Riley Herbst (No. 35), and Tyler Reddick (No. 45) as its drivers. However, a fourth part-time entry could be used for a rising star in the NASCAR Truck Series.
According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass, “don’t be surprised” if 23XI Racing uses a fourth car to run select races for Corey Heim in 2025. Heim is the NASCAR team’s reserve driver and ran a few races in the No. 50 car during the 2024 Cup Series season. The Truck Series driver will return to TRICON Garage in the No. 11 truck for the 2025 season.
Heim is regarded as 23XI Racing’s driver of the future, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see him in a fourth car for a few races next year. It is mildly surprising that Heim is staying in the Truck Series, but it does drive similarly to the NextGen car. 23XI Racing has a bright future, and Heim is expected to be a part of those NASAR plans.
