Happy Friday, Bruins fans! Tomorrow is the first of two open practices for you to go watch the 2024 team in action. We are down to 22 days until the first game of the season. That August 31st game in Hawaii is coming quickly!
With 22 days to go, we want to celebrate the lone 22 on the UCLA Bruins roster. That is redshirt senior running back Keegan Jones. Standing 5’10, 185, out of Cleveland Tennessee, Jones is projected to be a big lift for the Bruins offense in 2024.
Likely playing alongside T.J. Harden, Jones has been on the UCLA camps since April of 20219. This will be his fifth season with the Bruins. In 2020, he played five games. In 2021, he was able to play nine. In 2022, he played in 12 of the 13 games. Last season, he started 3 of the 12 games he played in. His biggest game was scoring two touchdowns against Washington State.

There is no doubt Jones is going to be a big piece of this offense for the Bruins. It will be fun to see what he brings to the table to offset Harden and his abilities.
