2026 target Preston Fryzel is one of the fastest rising TEs in the nation

Tight end Preston Fryzel is a rising Kentucky football target for the 2026 class.

Preston Fryzel, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound tight end from Central Catholic (OH) , received an offer from Kentucky this summer. The three-star recruit ranks as the 31st-best player in Ohio and the number 30 tight end in the country for the 2026 class.

The rising junior has offers from Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Louisville, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Tennessee, Purdue , Michigan State and his hometown school Toledo.

Mark Stoops and his coaching staff will continue to recruit him but Fryzel is projected to eventually commit to Toledo according to On3 Recruiting.

“Preston is a good prospect,” said 247Sports Midwest recruiting analyst Allen Trieu. “He has good size and has already been very productive at a good program. He has pass-catching skills and can move around a formation. I think, ultimately, he ends up being a hybrid tight end but can create mismatches.”

It seems like Preston wants to stay home in Toledo or even Cincinnati but let’s see if one of the fastest rising tight end’s could possibly commit to his biggest offering school Kentucky down the road.
