Texas A&M’s 2026 class continues to make the headlines amid head coach Mike Elko’s first season with the program after landing four commitments in the cycle after the Aggies’ 38-23 win over LSU just a few weeks ago.
Bringing more attention to the Maroon & White, two home games remain to host prospects this season, starting with New Mexico State on Saturday night and, of course, the season finale vs. Texas on Saturday, Nov. 30. Earlier this month, 2026 5-star athlete Brandon Arrington has been planning his return to College Station, and a date has now been confirmed.
According to 247Sports’ Andrew Hattersley, Arrington will return to College Station to attend Texas A&M vs. Texas as the elite two-way athlete, making his third visit and third game this season, is still a heavy favorite to land with the Aggies.
Arrington’s borderline elite athletic profile shows a player constantly outrunning coverage, whether beating man coverage off the snap or evading linebackers on reverse handoffs, long-striding his way to the endzone.
During his 2023 sophomore season, Arrington recorded 310 receiving yards, four touchdowns on offense, 25 tackles on defense, and a punt return touchdown on special teams.
According to 247Sports, Arrington is currently positioned as the 25th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 2nd-ranked athlete, and the 4th-ranked prospect in California.
