Texas A&M’s (8-2, 5-1 SEC) season finale vs. Texas is obviously on the mind of every Aggie and Longhorn fan, but before the Nov. 30 matchup, both teams, especially the Aggies, need to overcome their Week 13 hurdles.
Texas A&M will head to Auburn while Texas will host Kentucky, as the latter matchup is much less strenuous than facing the Tigers on the road for a primetime kickoff.
Recruiting-wise, the return of the Lone Star Showdown will also play host to a long list of 2026 prospects for both programs, and as of this week, 2026 4-star wide receiver and LSU commit Kenny Darby has joined the list.
While Darby is a Louisiana native, no one can doubt head coach Mike Elko’s recruiting reach, while WR coach Holmon Wiggins still has much to prove. Darby is a gadget player on the field with speed, quickness, and route-running prowess to the lineup at multiple spots.
According to 247Sports, Darby is currently positioned as the 186th-ranked prospect, the 32nd-ranked wide receiver, and the 9th-ranked prospect in Louisiana.
