Boom! Texas A&M has landed its second 2026 recruiting class commit in the last 24 hours after the Aggies defeated LSU 38-23 on Saturday night, as 4-star Edge Jordan Carter joined his Douglas County HS teammate, 2026 4-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory as the newest Aggie commits.
The Impact Texas A&M’s win over LSU continues to have on recruits from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 recruiting classes is undeniable, especially future defenders like Carter, who watched the Aggie pass rush dominate the Tigers in the second half, registering two sacks against LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier.
Standing at 6-4 and 235 pounds, Carter’s traits are undeniable. He looks like a perfect fit in Texas A&M’s defense, with added position versatility as a 4i-defensive lineman and a similar role to current sophomore Texas A&M defensive end Rylan Kennedy.
According to 247Sports, Carter is currently positioned as the 41st-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 6th-ranked Edge rusher, and the 4th-ranked prospect in Georgia.
