Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is coach Mike Elko’s first complete cycle since becoming head coach, and on paper, the 25 signees include five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.
However, the Navy All-American Bowl features three 2025 signees led by four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail, four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie, four-star defensive lineman Chace Sims, Rogers, four-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong, and four-star edge Marco Jones.
Jones, one of three California-based signees, is coming off his best statistical season, recording 125 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and 32 tackles for loss.
During this week’s practices, the future Texas A&M defender lived up to senior season dominance among some of the best prospects in the cycle, as he was named Navy All-American Bowl Defensive Player of the Year before Saturday’s game.
While beating out his future teammate Noah Mikhail, Jones was honored by the news, knowing that this coming offseason with Texas A&M S&C coach Tommy Moffitt will only make his stronger, faster, and ready to make an impact in the SEC sooner than later:
“It’s been cool just having the opportunity. One guy has been able to do it, so not too many,” Jones stated. “But it’s been cool being one of the only people in my school to have done it.”
The 2025 Navy All-American Bowl will start at 1:00 p.m. ET. on Saturday, Jan. 11. The game will air on NBC.
