2025 four-star small forward prospect Amari Evans committed to Tennessee basketball on Friday, according to Joe Tipton of On3.
Evans committed to the Vols over Pittsburgh and Xavier.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward is from Overtime Elite in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is ranked No. 74 nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the class of 2025. Evans also ranks as the No. 14 small forward and No. 11 prospect in Georgia.
Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and the Vols’ coaching staff offered a scholarship to Evans on Aug. 14. He officially visited Tennessee on Aug. 30.
Evans is the second prospect in Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class. Center DeWayne Brown also committed on April 20.
