2025 NFL draft: Titans slated to select 2nd overall

If the regular season ended today (and we know it doesn’t), the Tennessee Titans would select second overall in the 2025 NFL draft.

An incredible thing happened when the Tennessee Titans fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17: They were the big winners in the draft order sweepstakes.

The loss, coupled with the New York Giants’ improbable victory over the Indianapolis Colts, moved the Titans closer to the top. This is going to come as huge news for fans who have already turned the page on the 2024 season and are cheering at the thought of every loss.

Once again, the Titans struggled on offense and came up short. It’s a recurring theme in a season that has been full of bad decisions and dismal outcomes.

This week the Titans take on the Houston Texans in the season finale. Tennessee upset the Texans in the first game and will be looking to end the season on a high note. Unfortunately, many fans would like to see them fail.

If the season ended today, the Titans would have the second pick in the draft, moving up two spots with the loss.

The Titans will be back in action on Sunday when they close out the season against Texans at Nissan Stadium in Week 18 action.
