2025 edge prospect Mariyon Dye committed to Tennessee, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Dye committed to Tennessee over his other top eight schools: Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue.
“The way that they treated my family when I was down there and the relationship that I have built with the coaches over the past year,” Dye told Fawcett. “Coach Chop and coach Heupel literally call me everyday and don’t even talk to me about football. They check up on me and see how my day is going.”
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound four-star edge prospect is from Elkhart High School in Elkhart, Indiana.
Dye ranks as the No. 150 prospect in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 14 edge prospect and No. 3 player in Indiana, according to 247Sports.
Dye officially visited Tennessee on June 21. He was offered a scholarship by the Vols on July 29, 2023.
