2025 defensive lineman Myron Charles picks up offer from USC

USC continues to recruit vigorously in the state of Florida.

USC football has extended an offer to 2025 four-star defensive tackle Myron Charles out of Port Charlotte (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Charles is the 126th-ranked player nationally, 24th best overall in the state of Florida and the 16th-best defensive lineman in the nation.

At 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds, Charles brings power and versatility to the table at the next level. He has powerful hands and uses them to deliver multiple pass rushing moves to get to the quarterback.

Last year for Port Charlotte High School, Charles recorded 32 tackles (seven for loss), four sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and a pass breakup.

Charles other top offers include: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State and UCF.

USC needs to bolster its defensive line heading into the Big Ten. The Trojans cannot have too many pieces up front. They will need to be physical. They will need to have depth. They will need to be able to move players around and have the strength in the trenches which is necessary to win in the Big Ten.
