The recruiting visits are ramping up for Texas A&M as head coach Mike Elko and his staff, as several key 2025 prospects will make their way to College Station in the coming months, including 5-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, the top-ranked player in Mississippi.
After missing out on several 5-star wide receiver prospects in the 2024 recruiting class, including losing 5-star WR Cam Coleman to the Auburn Tigers, Cunningham, who will reportedly visit College Station on April 19, presents a great opportunity to right the ship for Mike Elko and his staff.
Possessing elite traits at the position, Cunningham is a red-zone nightmare. While his catch radius and impressive size (6-3, 180 lbs) stand out the most, his RAC (run after catch) ability and second-level speed will make him an instant receiving threat at the next level.
In three seasons at Choctaw Country HS in Ackerman, Mississippi, Cunningham recorded 2,150 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns, including a career-high 1,138 yards and 14 scores during his 2023 junior campaign.
According to 247Sports Composite, Cunningham is currently positioned as the 11th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 2nd-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the No.1-ranked prospect in Mississippi.
