2025 5-star OT out of Mesquite (TX) has committed to Texas A&M

Texas A&M has landed one of the top offensive linemen in the 2025 class!

Boom! Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko is putting the finishing touches on his first complete recruiting class in the 2025 cycle as Early Signing Day begins on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, it was announced that 2025 5-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers has committed to the Aggies after decommitting from Missouri on Monday afternoon. After flirting with the option over the last month, the Mesquite, Texas native is headed to College Station with the talent and size to impact the trenches immediately.

Rogers is one of the more athletic blockers with substantial size, standing at nearly 6-6.5 and 311 pounds. He is already thriving as a run-blocker. At the same time, his pass protection skill set is a work in progress, though his use of leverage is above average.

Rogers is the first five-star offensive line commit for Texas A&M since landing guard Kenyon Green, who is currently starting along the Houston Texans O-line.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 27th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 6th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 9th-ranked prospect in Texas.
