2025 5-star OL receives another prediction to flip from Missouri to Texas A&M

2025 5-star OT Lamont Rogers could be headed to Aggieland!

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has a great chance to flip one of the top offensive tackle prospects, 5-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, who is currently committed to Missouri.

After making a surprise visit to College Station during the Aggies’ 38-23 win over the LSU Tigers, Rogers was reportedly blown away by the Kyle Field environment. This visit happened during one of the greatest comebacks in the program’s history.

A longtime Missouri commit, Rogers received a prediction to flip his commitment to Texas A&M from On3’s Steve Wiltfong, and even after the Aggies’ disappointing 44-20 loss to South Carolina last Saturday, 247Sports’ Mike Roach and Tom Loy have joined the bandwagon in predicting the Aggies to land the Horn, Texas native.

Rogers is one of the more athletic blockers with substantial size, standing at nearly 6-6.5 and 311 pounds. He is already thriving as a run-blocker. At the same time, his pass protection skill set is a work in progress, though his use of leverage is above average.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 49th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 6th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 12th-ranked prospect in Texas.
