2025 4-Star RB out of DeSoto (TX) will visit Texas A&M in February

Texas A&M will reportedly host 2024 four-star running back Deondre Riden on of DeSoto, Texas early next month.

Outside of 2024, five-star athlete and Texas A&M commit Terry Bussey’s official announcement is on Feb. 7; Aggies head coach Mike Elko has shifted his focus to the 2025 recruiting class, knowing that earlier he can his staff can develop relationships within the cycle, the better they have of securing commitments as soon as spring hits.

Joining 2025 four-star running back Jordon Davidson, who will visit Texas A&M on Saturday, Jan. 27, it has been confirmed by On3’s Sam Spiegelman that four-star back Deondre Riden out of DeSoto (TX) will follow Davidson and visit College Station on Friday, Feb. 3.

According to 247Sports Composite, Riden is currently positioned as the 205th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 21st-ranked running back, and the 33rd-ranked player in Texas. Entering his final senior season at DeSoto High School, Riden has already amassed 2,409 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns in three seasons, including 1,044 yards on the ground and 12 touchdowns during his 2023 junior campaign.

Still yet to sign a prospect in the cycle, Riden and Davidson join a long list of potential “head to head” recruiting battles with the Texas Longhorns, who will officially join the SEC next season.
