2025 4-star OT and Missouri commit is predicted to flip to Texas A&M

Texas A&M could pick up a current 2025 Missouri commit after Saturday’ thrashing of the Tigers

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has a chance to flip one of the top offensive tackle prospects, 4-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, who is currently committed to Missouri.

On Saturday, Texas A&M (5-1, 3-0 SEC) blew out the 9th-ranked Missouri Tigers 41-10 inside a packed Kyle Field. The return of quarterback Conner Weigman led to one of the best offensive showings of the year. Rogers, who attended the matchup to watch both teams, was more impressed with the Aggies, especially the play in the trenches.

Just hours after the game, On3 Recruiting Analyst Steve Wiltfong logged his expert prediction for Texas A&M to flip Rogers after Saturday’s win. At the same time, several other 2025 and 2026 prospects are also names to keep an eye on as A&M enters its Bye Week ranked atop the SEC standings at 3-0.

Rogers is one of the more athletic blockers with substantial size, standing at nearly 6-6.5 and 311 pounds. He is already thriving as a run-blocker. At the same time, his pass protection skill set is a work in progress, though his use of leverage is above average.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 49th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 6th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 12th-ranked prospect in Texas.
