Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is filled with talent at nearly every position, while several commits stand out more than others, which includes 4-star linebacker Noah Mikhail, who displays an elite skill set that should result in early playing time as soon as he steps on campus.
Before heading to College Station, Mikhail will participate in the Navy All-American Bowl, which will take place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, set for Saturday, January 11, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
While it’s no surprise that Mikhail received an invitation, the senior backer holds a deep personal connection to the Bowl’s Military celebration and representation, as the senior backer received his jersey this week, explaining the significance in an interview with 247Sports’ Blair Angulo:
“Having the tie-in with the Navy makes it all the more special for me and family,” Mikhail stated. “The milary does so much for our country, they protect us and keep us safe, and i know it’s going to be an amazing experience in the stadium.”
In terms of the competition Mikhail will face, this will be a great tune-up before taking on SEC offenses in the near future.
“We’ve heard it’s a great experience and a different type of competition level. This is the best competition you can get, and that’s what I’ll be doing in the SEC — going against the best of the best every week.”
Mikhail’s elite athleticism and impressive closing speed make him a name to watch within a 2025 linebacker corps that will need an infusion of talent, especially in the era of the transfer portal.
After committing to Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko on June 30th, Mikhail confirmed his alliance with the program earlier this fall.
According to 247Sports, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 120th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 8th-ranked linebacker, and the 10th-ranked prospect in California.
