Co-leaders Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai are tied at 17-under-par 199 and will take a 1-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round at Detroit Golf Club (7,370 yards, par 72). Rai is the No. 62 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, while Bhatia is No. 95.
Pre-tournament favorite Tom Kim (+1200 before the opening round) missed the cut after rounds of 73-68. Defending champion Rickie Fowler, who won at 24-under 264, is tied for 19th place at 11-under after shooting 66-72-67. He opened at +4000 to win and is now at +30000.

The 22-year-old pro from Los Angeles, who opened at +2000 to win, shot a 4-under 68 to go with a 64-67 and will try for his 3rd career title and 2nd this season (he won the Valero Texas Open).
Aaron Rai (+300)
The 29-year-old pro from England, who opened at +2800 to win, shot a 4-under 68 to go with a 66-65. The 5-time winner in international events will try for his 1st career title in his 84th tour event.

Before the final group tees off at 2 p.m. ET (1-3 p.m. ET Golf Channel; 3-6 p.m. CBS), here are 3 other players to watch as they try to chase down Bhatia and Rai.
Cam Davis (+650): Golfweek’s No. 81 player starts tied for 3rd place 1 shot back at 16-under after rounds of 68-66-66. He opened at +5500.
Cameron Young (+400): He also starts tied for 3rd place after rounds of 67-66-67. Golfweek’s No. 19 player opened at +1400 as he seeks his 1st tour title.
Erik Van Rooyen (+1400): Golfweek’s No. 67 player starts tied for 5th place, 2 shots back at 15-under after rounds of 69-64-68. He opened at +6000.
2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic – Props update
Before the tournament started, we mentioned a few prop bets worth considering a play on. Let’s take a look at 3 of them.
Min Woo Lee (+350 to make top 5): Starts final round tied for 7th place at 14-under rounds of 68-68-66. He’s now at +2200 to win it. We also had Cam Young for a top 5 at +300.
