Alabama’s 2024 recruiting class added its 15th commitment on Wednesday. 2024 punter Anderson Green announced that he was committed to Alabama via Twitter.

Green, a Tuscaloosa native, is ranked as a five-star on Kohl’s Kicking Camps. He is ranked as the No. 25 punter in the country as well.

Camp director Jamie Kohl had the following to say in regards to how Green performed at the camp:

“Green had a dominant performance in the punt competition at the Underclassman Challenge in January of 2023. He won the 2nd competition held at camp! At the 2022 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase he showed excellent leg strength and command of his drop throughout the event and had one of the more dominating performances of the showcase tour. He charted several 45+ yard punts at camp including a big ball of 53 yards with 4.6 seconds of hang time. He will be an athlete to keep your eyes on in the next 6 months!”

Green is a former high school teammate of Alabama offensive tackle Wilkin Formby. The two played for Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama football recruiting.
