2024 NFL draft: #Bills meet with Joe Brady connection Troy Franklin at combine

The Buffalo Bills met with Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin at the 2024 NFL combine. For a multitude of reasons, he could be on the Bills’ radar once the draft rolls around.

Franklin’s draft stock has him around the area of where Buffalo is slated to pick in Round 1, No. 28 overall. Not only is receiver a need for the Bills with Gabe Davis looking likely to leave as a free agent, there’s a connection.

Franklin said at the combine that he met with Buffalo at the event. He went on to explain he has a relationship with Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady as well. That connection could mean there is real interest from the team in Franklin.

Franklin is a tall, 6-foot-3 playmaker that should put up yardage in the pros thanks to a strong ability to create separation, according to NFL.com. However, he does come with a smaller 180-pound frame.

This past season, Oregon had a promising season and Franklin played his part. He put up 81 catches, 1,383 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games played.

Franklin discussing the Bills and Brady can be found in the WIVB-TV clip below, along with a collection of his college highlights:
