Dolphins over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 20 at 6:01 a.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 9.5 wins: (Over: -122 | Under: +100)

According to the Sharp Football Analysis, which based its calculations off the Vegas Forecasted Win Totals, the Dolphins have the 8th easiest schedule in the NFL. Their implied line is 9.85, suggesting the Over may have good value here.

The Dolphins added to their defense with DE Chop Robinson, who they drafted from Penn State in the 1st round. Miami has an electric offense, and as long contract negotiations with QB Tua Tagovailoa don’t cause a holdout, the Dolphins should have high-end talent on both sides of the field.

With McDaniels’ continuing his tenure and WR Tyreek Hill still being one of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL, the Dolphins should be able to perform well against a weaker schedule.

At this value, TAKE OVER 9.5 (-122).

Dolphins Super Bowl odds

  • +2400 (bet $100 to win $2,400)

Miami is tied with the 11th-shortest odds to win it all with division foe, the New York Jets. The San Francisco 49ers (+550) are the favorites, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs (+600). The Carolina Panthers have the longest odds at +30000.

At +2400, Miami has an implied probability of winning the Super Bowl of 4% or 24/1 fractional odds.

Backing the DOLPHINS (+2400) to win the Super Bowl for a 24-1 payoff is worth a small wager, especially considering the elite talent they have on their roster.

Will Dolphins make the playoffs?

  • Yes -128 | No +104

There are 7 teams that will make the playoffs in the AFC, and the Dolphins along with 2 AFC North teams made the cut. The AFC South didn’t get that much better, and the AFC West has a few of the worst teams in the NFL. There’s a real chance 2 or 3 teams from the AFC East make the playoffs.

The Dolphins didn’t lose any key player offensively and kept their strong coaching staff intact. With Robinson to start helping them defensively, the Dolphins, who had the 3rd-best scoring differential in the conference last season, should have enough offensive firepower to keep them as a playoff contender.

At these odds, BACK YES (-128).

Odds to win AFC East Division

  • Bills +160 (bet $100 to win $160)
  • Dolphins +185 (bet $100 to win $185)
  • Jets +210 (bet $100 to win $210)
  • Patriots +2400 (bet $100 to win $2,400)

Miami’s implied probability of winning the AFC East is 35.1% or 1.85/1 fractional odds. The AFC East is poised to be one of the best divisions in football. However, the Bills, the clear favorite, have a far more difficult schedule, the 23rd-most difficult per Sharp.

With the Dolphins and Jets both top 10 in strength of schedule, they are worth a play to win the division if the Bills stumble in the numerous high-profile games they play. TAKE DOLPHINS (+185).

Dolphins odds to win AFC

  • +1200 (bet $100 to win $1,200)

There’s some value here, but the AFC is a competitive division.

Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and the Bills all will have a say, and with Cincinnati having the 6th-easiest schedule along with Kansas City having the 12th-easiest schedule, avoid taking the Dolphins to win the division.

Avoid this one.
